現在、様々な困難が子供達の前に立ちはだかっ ている。アジアの途上国では、明日をどのように 生きるのかさえ見えない、そんな状況が子供達の 前に広がっている。しかし、先進国といわれる欧 米、日本においても、離婚、いじめ、虐待など、 社会不安のしわ寄せが、一番弱い子供へと向かっ てしまう。それに対して子供達ができることは逃 げることだけなのではないだろうか？
「子供の遊び」の意味が現代では変わってきて しまった。そこは、唯一、大人達からの干渉を受 けず、自分の世界に逃げ込める場所になっている。
このペダルカーは様々な古着からできている。 古着に関わる人と人の、とても大きな輪、その中 の一人でも、自分の身近な子供達に、そして私た ち大人が子供達に与える環境に目を向けるそんな きっかけになれば
子供におもちゃを贈る。そんな何よりも優しい 気持ち。この気持ちを古着という人の輪で共有で きれば、きっと何かが変わる。

The meaning of "play of a child" has changed in the present age. It is the place which does not receive only and the interference from adults but can run into its world.
This pedal car is made of various old clothes. There is a very big ring of the man in connection with old clothes and a man. It prays becoming the cause for no less than one person in the ring to turn his eyes to the environment which their familiar children and we the adults give to children.
A child is presented with a toy. The feeling gentler than anything to. If this feeling is sharable by the ring of the man of old clothes, something will surely change.
